Protecting Multiple Computers with one account:
Thank you for purchasing the FrontDoorSoftware
Laptop Loss & Theft Recovery Software System. Your new program is designed to help you
prevent theft of your laptop, protect your information, track it and recover it. With a
97% recovery rate, the odds are stacked in YOUR favor!
Perhaps you already created an account and
need to finish your installation, or perhaps you ordered multiple licenses and need to
install them so that you can control all your computers using one account number. Once
your account is set up, protecting additional computers is easy, and only takes seconds.
Here's how:
(1) If you are already a customer and have not
paid for your license, or need additional licenses, sign into your account, and select the
green ORDER MORE button on the top left. You can also call us at
303.670.8800 8.30a-4.30p MST and order by phone. Once we get your order, we will set up
multiple licenses under your account.
(2) Using the computer that you want to add
protection on, select a download button below. During installation, select that you are an
EXISTING customer, and then choose which available license you want to
use.

(3) RESTART the
computer, and your done
Free Upgrade:
The download buttons below point to the latest
version. If you are the equipment owner, and have administrator access, you can upgrade
for free. New versions this year include many new features like the new TALK shout for
help feature for Windows, and the new Uninstall Code protection. (Your Connection
Code becomes your Uninstall Code). We also have contracted with SkyHook Wireless
to give you a new way to track your laptop.. This new method helps you by tracking the
actual laptop using Wi-Fi triangulation and places the longitude and latitude information
on a Google Map! It's pretty cool!
Upgrading your program is easy and only takes
a couple minutes. Here is how to do it.
(1) Remove your current FrontDoorSoftware
security program. One way to do this is to go to Programs and look for either Retriever or
FrontDoorSoftware. Select uninstall/remove . If it asks you for your Uninstall code, you
can find that number when you sign into your account - select the STOLEN/LOCK tab. Your
Uninstall code is the same as your Connection Code and is case sensitive.
(2) Choose one of the blue installation
buttons below.
(3) Save and Run both the FrontDoorSoftware program and the SkyHook Wi-Fi security program
when asked.
Select (o) I am an existing customer
rather than (o) I am a new customer and enter your 3 numbers. Select DONE and RESTART your
computer to activate tracking.
